A-Group sees 6% rise in premiums year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based A-Group Insurance Company collected AZN 5.011 mln in January-June, up 5.92% compared with a year, company’s spokesman Rashid Huseynov told APA.
According to him the insurance claims on the insurance risks rose by 38.7% to AZN 2.815mln. AZN 4.792 mln came from Health Insurance and makes 96% of total premiums. AZN 86.468 mln came from Vehicle insurance.
Insurance claims came from Health Insurance (AZN 2.733 mln), Vehicle Insurance (AZN 58.151 mln. The company’s profit made AZN 0.6 mln.
Owned by several individuals A-Group has been in operation since 1995. The company operates 14 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance types.
