Pasha Bank forecasts real GDP to increase by 6.7% this year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Pasha Bank forecasted the real Gross Domestic Product to increase by 6-7% this year in its strategic plan for 2009-2011, bank’s chairman Farid Akhundov told APA.
According to him oil production will increase by approximately 5%, the economy will get profit. According to forecasts the volume of investments will reach $ 14 bln. The capital will be invested in non-oil sector
He also noted that, the increase of revenues will support the rise of consumer prices. The forecasted was accounted on average 6%. THE currency will remain steady.
