- How are the financial and economical relations between Iran and Azerbaijan?

- The relations between Iran and Azerbaijan is at high level. Our historical relations create opportunities to develop the economical relations.

- How is the volume of the trade turnover between Iran and Azerbaijan? Is it possible to increase this?

- The trade exchange was $ 500 mln between two countries. At the same time, Iranian businessmen invest in construction works in Azerbaijan. But it is lower than we expect. I think that, if we reach the trade exchange $ 10 bln, this will help to develop the cooperation.

- How can Iran support the development of Islamic Banking in Azerbaijan?

- Iran is ready to share all experiences and opportunities about Islamic Banking with Azerbaijani brothers. This will have impact to develop our relations in all spheres. We have such cooperation with other Islamic Countries.

- What is your opinion about the creation of joint free trade zone between Azerbaijan and Iran?

- Azerbaijan Republic and Eastern Azerbaijan Province of Iran have agreement about the creation of joint free trade zone in the border. We support to realize this project. We have to establish checkpoint to simplify the trade operation in the border. Azerbaijani and Iranian Customs officers have to work there. Exported and imported goods will be controlled. This bilateral trade and economical cooperation will help to develop the relations between Iran and Azerbaijan.

- Which spheres do Iranian investors want to invest in Azerbaijan?

- Iranians interest to invest in construction, factory and agriculture spheres in Azerbaijan. I hope that, investment of Iranian businessmen in Azerbaijan will develop, in the future.
