Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has advised the United States to carry out a military-political operation against figures in Russia’s leadership, particularly Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, based on the “Venezuela experience”, APA reports.
Zelenskyy said this could serve as a strong message to persuade Vladimir Putin to agree to peace.
Zelenskyy noted that such an operation, demonstratively carried out by U.S. intelligence agencies, could send a serious signal to Russian President Vladimir Putin to move toward a peace agreement under the Ukrainian option.
“We have achieved good results, but not everything is finished yet. The United States has tools and knows how to apply pressure when it wants,” Zelenskyy said.
He cited the operation against Nicolás Maduro as a specific example: “For example, Maduro. Did they carry out the operation quickly? Yes, quickly. The whole world saw it. Something like that could be done with Kadyrov. Perhaps Putin would see it and think,” the Ukrainian president added.
