The first countries with which Ukraine will introduce multiple citizenship will be Germany, Poland, Czechia, the United States, and Canada, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian World Congress, APA reports citing RBC Ukraine.
"The law has been adopted, and in the near future, the government will approve the necessary regulations. The first countries where these provisions will be applied will be Germany, Poland, Czechia, the United States, and Canada," Zelenskyy said.
The President noted that this is a step toward even greater unity of Ukrainians around the world.
