"During the night, the Russian side attacked the territory of our country with 300 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and 8 missiles. As a result, 6 people, including a small child, died," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram, APA reports.
He noted that the Russian army's main targets were Dnieper, Sumy, Poltava, Nikolayev, and the capital Kyiv.
According to the Ukrainian leader, Kyiv was hit more intensively than other areas. As a result, the entrance to one of the residential buildings was completely destroyed: "Today, the world once again witnessed Russia's response to the peace request of Ukraine, the United States, and the European Troika. However, our partners have all the means to force official Moscow to peace and negotiations. We hope that the ideas voiced by Europe and the United States will be confirmed in practice."
Note that the Russian army has fired drones at various cities in Ukraine. Residential buildings were targeted during the attack, killing 6 civilians and injuring more than 50 others.
