UN Secretary-General's spokesman Stephane Dujarric did not confirm the words of Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, APA reports.
During a press conference, in response to a journalist’s question asking whether he confirmed Iran’s Vice President’s claim that UN Secretary-General António Guterres told him “the file on overthrowing the Iranian government after the 12-day war is already closed,” Dujarric said, “I cannot confirm that the Secretary-General said such a thing.”
Note that Mohammad Reza Aref had previously claimed that Antonio Guterres told him in a meeting, "The file of overthrowing the Iranian government is already closed after the 12-day war."
