Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's Office Head Andriy Yermak (pictured left) claimed on Tuesday that his country's military found Indian-made components in Russian unmaned aerial vehicles (UAVs), notably of the Shahed type, which it downed recently, APA reports citing Baha Breaking news.
"It is necessary to deprive the Russians of the opportunity to receive components from other countries and stop the killing of Ukrainians," Yermak wrote on Telegram, also attaching an article with similar claims published by the Hindustan Times. "Also, buying Russian energy resources is financing war, which does not contribute to peace."
His comments came after the United States accused India of financing Russia's military operation in Ukraine. US President Donald Trump also threatened India with higher tariffs on its goods if it continues to cooperate with Russia, particularly by buying its oil. The Kremlin later condemned Washington's move.
