Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine held a phone call with Kaja Kallas, Vice-President of the European Commission, APA reports.
Andrii Sybiha shared a post on his X account in this regard.
"Had a very meaningful phone call with KajaKallas. I informed about the fourth round of the ministerial meeting within the Triangle “Ukraine - Republica Moldova - Romania”, which will be conducted today in Chernivtsi in person together with Oana Toiu and Mihai Popsoi. Our Polish and Lithuanian colleagues Sikorski Radek and Budrys Kestutis will join us online, and we will have + Lublin Triangle format.
We decided to initiate a joint meeting of these two successful formats to enhance our synergy and underline that the security of Black Sea and Baltic regions is indivisible.
I emphasized to the EU High Representative that we in Ukraine believe in and invest heavily in good neighbourhood in Central and Eastern Europe through the development of regional formats. This is important for the unity of the whole of Europe.
I also informed about the recent developments and our efforts on the path to a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace, in particular talks with the US and European allies.
We agreed that a real peace can and must be reached through strength. We have coordinated our next diplomatic steps," the post reads.
