"The allegations that Türkiye is showing a hostile attitude towards the Kurds in the Syrian conflict, and that our president and ministers have made statements about this, are completely unfounded,” APA’s Türkiye bureau reports, citing the Disinformation Combat Department of the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidential Administration.
The statement noted that declarations targeting terrorism and terrorist organizations have been taken out of context and disseminated for disinformation purposes through various media outlets and social media accounts:
“We respectfully ask the public, as well as our friends, brothers, and neighbors with whom we have shared common values for centuries, not to pay attention to these false and untrue claims.”
