Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said his phone call with United States President Donald Trump was productive, APA's Türkiye Bureau reports.
Erdoğan said that the Syrian issue was the main topic of discussion.
“We discussed in detail many important matters that will contribute to Syria’s security, including the joint fight against ISIS. With the implementation of the agreement signed yesterday, other areas under the organization’s control and the civilians living there will also regain their freedom as soon as possible. In this way, a united Syria will be established where everyone feels safe,” Erdoğan said.
