Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is aware of the operations carried out in Aleppo, Syria, local media reported, citing sources within Türkiye’s security forces, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
It was noted that all processes occurring in Syria, Türkiye's border neighbor, are being closely monitored within the framework of national security priorities.
“Under the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) maintains constant contact with the Syrian Government and the United States to resolve events peacefully, and also conveys relevant messages to the SDF. President Erdoğan is kept informed about the process on an ongoing basis. Events are monitored in coordination with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Defense within the framework of Türkiye's security priorities. MIT personnel are operating in the region on a 24-hour basis,” the report emphasized.
