Turkish FM reveals details of meeting with Tom Barrack

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has announced the details of his meeting with the United States Ambassador to Türkiye and US Special Representative for Syria Tom Barrack, APA's Türkiye bureau reports.

The minister said that the ceasefire process achieved in Syria was discussed during the meeting. He noted that in this context, they exchanged views on the meetings held by US Representative Tom Barrack in Syria:

“This morning, we met with the US Representative for Syria, Mr. Tom Barrack. He provided information about the details of the meetings he held in Damascus. He held meetings with both the SDF and the Syrian government separately, including in a trilateral format. We emphasized that Türkiye has always played a constructive role. All parties welcome this. We will continue our discussions together,” said Hakan Fidan.
