Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha shared details of his meeting with German counterpart Johann Wadephul on his X account, APA reports.
“We spoke about steps to counter Russian aggression against Ukraine, neutralise the threats posed to Europe by the aggressive Russian regime, and ways to further strengthen the ties between our nations. We value Germany's outstanding leadership in supporting Ukraine, particularly in terms of military assistance, as well as its clear-eyed stance on ways to maintain long-term peace in Europe. We discussed how to achieve peace through strength, which consists of two key components: strengthening Ukraine and increasing pressure on Russia,” the post reads.
The Ukrainian diplomat also noted that Ukraine’s EU accession process is ongoing, with Germany’s support.
