The number of casualties from the Russian strike on the Kharkiv suburbs, specifically at the Nova Poshta terminal, has risen to four, while the number of injured has also increased to six, according to a post by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
“The number of people killed as a result of the Russian strike on the Kharkiv suburbs has reached four. Additionally, six people sustained injuries of varying severity,” wrote the regional governor.
Later, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (DSNS) reported that the strike caused structural damage to the terminal buildings and several fire spots covering a total area of about 500 sq.m.
“DSNS personnel rescued 30 people, including two who were pulled from under the rubble of the collapsed building. Emergency rescue operations and fire suppression are ongoing. DSNS units are working at the site under the threat of continuous shelling,” the rescuers reported.
