Romania will soon provide Ukraine with the next – already the 23rd – military aid package, said Ukraine’s Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal on his Facebook page after a meeting in Kyiv with Romania’s Defense Minister Liviu-Ionut Moșteanu, APA reports.
The Ukrainian minister expressed his gratitude for Romania’s significant support in key areas.
“Romania is also continuing the training of Ukrainian pilots for F-16 aircraft and is making other important contributions to the establishment of our air defense system,” he noted.
According to Shmyhal, it was agreed during the meeting to strengthen coordination between air defense forces.
