Preparations for the meeting between the Presidents of Russia and the United States have entered the final stage, and the program has already been agreed upon, said Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, APA reports.
According to him, the leaders will first have a one-on-one meeting, then talks will be held with the participation of delegations. The meeting will be held in a “5 against 5” format.
The Russian delegation will include Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, and the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev.
Note that the meeting to be held in Alaska will begin tomorrow at 22:30 Moscow time and will open with a one-on-one conversation attended only by the interpreters, in addition to the leaders.
“The central topic of the Putin-Trump summit will be the resolution of the Ukraine crisis, but other issues will also be addressed,” Ushakov said.
