More than 500,000 people have been left without electricity in the city of Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv region following another large-scale attack by the Russian army on Ukraine’s energy and civilian infrastructure, said Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolesnyk at a briefing today, APA reports, citing Unian.
“As a result of the massive attack, substations, overhead power transmission lines, and energy generation facilities have suffered serious damage. Restoration work is currently underway,” he said.
