This is a big move, and it helps Romania grow its air force and support NATO too.
Romania is getting 18 F-16 jets from the Netherlands for just 1 Euro.
The official deal will be signed by Romanian Defense Minister Ionuț Moșteanu.
He is in The Hague, Netherlands, with Romanian President Nicusor Dan, attending the NATO Summit, according to the Romania Journal report.
With these 18 new jets, Romania's total number of F-16 fighter jets will be over 70. The donation is linked to the F-16 pilot training center already set up in Romania.
