A trilateral discussion between representatives of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Türkiye and Sweden will take place on Wednesday, June 14, APA reports citing TASS.
The aim of the meeting is to talk about Sweden's progress on joining the alliance, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday, according to Russia's TASS news agency.
In May of last year, both Sweden and Finland applied to join the alliance, but Türkiye blocked the accession process.
