The head of the State Security Service of Georgia, Anri Okhanashvili, has announced his resignation, he announced on Facebook, APA reports.
Okhanashvili noted that he intends to take the post of adviser to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on national security issues.
The Prime Minister, in turn, said that the new head of the State Security Service of Georgia will be Mdinaradze, the executive secretary of the ruling party.
