The planned meeting between German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos will not take place, sources in the German government told BILD publication, APA reports.
The reason for this is the late arrival of the US President in Switzerland due to a malfunction in his plane.
It is reported that despite the delay, Trump plans to speak at the World Economic Forum in Davos, as well as hold a number of meetings with world leaders and business representatives.
