Georgia’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili has resigned, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the resignation at a briefing, noting that Davitashvili will assume the position of economic advisor to the prime minister and secretary of the economic council.
Recall that a few days ago, former Deputy Minister of Economy Romeo Mikautadze was arrested on charges of acquiring a large amount of illegal funds and money laundering.
