Another person has been detained as part of the investigation into the events that took place in Tbilisi on October 4, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the Ministry, operational-search measures are ongoing to identify and bring to criminal responsibility other individuals who participated in the riots.
It should be noted that a total of 35 people have been detained so far, including the organizers and participants who engaged in acts of violence during the rally. They are accused of damaging and destroying property, seizing or blocking strategic facilities, organizing, leading, and participating in group violence, as well as calling for the violent change of Georgia’s constitutional order and the overthrow of state power.
