Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of the Georgian Parliament, Givi Mikanadze, is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports, citing the Georgian Parliament’s press service.
As part of the visit, Mikanadze met with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Science and Education, Firudin Gurbanov, and the deputy ministers of Youth and Sports.
The parties discussed cooperation in various fields and emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral ties.
“Mikanadze highlighted the youth exchange camp program to be held in July-August. The sides agreed that such formats will become systematic to deepen future ties between young people,” the statement said.
