The Ministry of Internal Affairs has detained eight more people in connection with the events that took place in Tbilisi on October 4, - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Darakhvelidze said at the briefing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, APA reports citing Interpress News.
According to the ministry, a total of 44 people have been detained, 4 persons are hiding.
“The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia continue to identify and bring to criminal responsibility those persons who committed unlawful and violent actions in Tbilisi on October 4 of this year.
As part of the investigation, as a result of complex operational measures and investigative actions, law enforcement officers have detained 8 more persons: Z.A., A. D., I. Ch., Kh.G., G.Ch., G.M., R.M., I.D., while 4 persons are in hiding.
A total of 44 persons have been detained in connection with the above-mentioned case.
