French President Emmanuel Macron’s wife, Brigitte Macron, did not hold his hand while disembarking from the plane during their visit to the United Kingdom, footage circulating online shows, APA reports.
This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. During a previous trip to Vietnam, Brigitte Macron was seen slapping her husband as they exited the aircraft. Although the French President’s office initially denied the authenticity of the footage, it was later confirmed to be genuine. A close friend of the couple told BFMTV that it was a “harmless dispute” between husband and wife.
