The European Union and China have issued a joint statement on climate change, APA reports.
The President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced on their social media accounts their visits to Beijing and bilateral talks on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the EU and China.
According to the joint statement adopted by the European Union and China, both sides will strengthen cooperation on climate change.
Beijing and Brussels have agreed to successfully implement the goals of the COP30 conference.
