The European Union has announced the launch of three new projects worth a total of 6.6 million euros aimed at strengthening the independent media sector in Ukraine, APA reports, citing the press service of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
The projects aim to support journalists in their work to inform citizens, expose corruption and document the truth about Russian aggression.
The statement notes that 3 million euros will be allocated to media outlets working on the front lines and engaged in investigative journalism.
