The European Union has provided Ukraine with a total of 168.9 billion euros in aid since the start of the war with Russia, of which 59.6 billion euros went to arms supplies, APA reports, citing European Commission.
Of the total aid of 168.9 billion euros provided by the European Union and its member states to Ukraine, 59.6 billion euros were spent on the purchase of weapons and military equipment to support Ukraine's ability to continue military operations. This includes both bilateral supplies and purchases made through the European Peace Fund.
The European Commission also included 17 billion euros in the total amount. This money was allocated not directly to Kiev, but to EU countries for the reception and resettlement of Ukrainian refugees.
