Axios portal reports that Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian President's Special Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, met in Paris with US President Donald Trump's Special Representative, Stephen Witkoff, and the American leader's son-in-law, entrepreneur Jared Kushner, APA reports.
According to the portal's sources, the meeting took place following two days of talks between Whitkoff and Kushner with representatives of Ukraine and European countries. Axios claims that a plan for a possible resolution of the Ukrainian crisis was discussed at the meeting. As the portal writes, "having reached agreement with Ukraine on almost all aspects of Trump's plan, the White House wants a clear response" to this proposal from the Russian leadership.
