A 3.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Sindirgi district of Balikesir province at 10:26 local time today, APA reports, citing the Turkish Emergency Management Agency.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 11.67 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
It should be noted that three additional earthquakes of magnitude 4.6, 4.1 and 4 were recorded in the district of the Turkish Balikesir province yesterday, following a 6.1 magnitude earthquake.
