PACE passes resolution on Ukraine

The report on activity of democratic institutions in Ukraine was debated in today’s session of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE), APA’s correspondent reports.
A special resolution on the situation in Ukraine was adopted after the debates. The resolution underlines the necessity of further democratic reforms in Ukraine. Ukraine was recommended to achieve the solution to the current problems in the frame of law and to apply mechanisms of the Council of Europe Venice Commission. The resolution was adopted by the majority of the vote.
Members of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE did not address the debates. /APA/
