Baku-APA. The Ukrainian government has approved a plan of priority measures for European Union (EU) integration, the cabinet’s press service said in statement posted its website on Monday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The document aims at deepening Ukraine’s cooperation with EU by means of implementing reforms. The main purpose of these changes is the creation of free trade zone with the European Union and receiving financial assistance from Europe.

The government hopes that the adoption of the plan will ensure the introduction of domestic social and economic reforms, and create basis for the future implementation of association agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

On late June Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said that acceleration of Ukraine’s European integration is a priority issue for Kiev. And visa regime liberalization is currently one of the top questions for Ukraine.
