Serbian president confirms report on Ratko Mladicâ€™s capture

Earlier the news agencies quoted the anonym sources as saying that a person looking like Mladic was captured in Serbia.

Mladic, a former Bosnian Serb general, was one of the worldâ€™s most wanted criminals, evading capture for more than 15 years despite an increasing international effort to hunt him down Serbian government stated many times that it made all efforts to arrest Ratko Mladic and another war criminal Goran Hadzic, who supposedly absconds in Serbia. In October, 2010, the government promised 10 and 5 million euro for information about Mladic and Hadzic.
