Baku. Aynur Aliyeva - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan launched new power stations in the capacity of 2,300 MV/t during past 9-10 years, spokesman of Ministry of Industry and Energy Asaf Rzayev.
He says there are stations with the total capacity of 7,100 MV/t in the country. 14 of them are heat power stations, 11 water power stations: “Generation capacity rose 40% during past 10 years. Reserve capacity is 2,000 mvt. The country has 6 bln kVt/hour energy export potential. Additional powers with 2,400 mvt are planned to be launched by 2020”.
