Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Yearly initial throughput capacity of the Trans Anatolina Gas Pipeline, to be constructed for transportation of Azeri gas to European markets, will make 16 bcm, said the Vice-President of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan on Economic Issues Suleyman Gasimov.
According to him, yearly throughput capacity of the TANAP is planned to reach 23 bcm in 2023, 31 bcm, - in 2026. Initially, 10 bcm from 16 bcm of Azeri gas is planned to transport to Europe, 6 bcm – to Turkey. The gas considered for Europe will be handed over in Turkey-Bulgaria or Turkey-Greece borders.
Gasimov said that BP, Statoil and Total companies intend to join the TANAP project: “The talks on this direction are underway”.
