Fulfillment of Shah Deniz II will lead to the further development of Azerbaijani, Georgian and Turkey's economy and additional investments’, said Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev, APA-Economics.
‘Regional and transnational projects come true so quickly’, noted the Minister.
The Minister added that at present, Turkey purchases 6 bcm of gas from Azerbaijan. This figure will be reached up to 12 bcm in future. The Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline’s capacity will be increased from 8 bcm up to 24 bcm. Azerbaijan's gas export capacity will hit 60 bcm in future. Investments in Azerbaijan's economy will grow significantly in the next 10 years.
