According to him, 335 mln tonnes of oil and 96 bcm of gas have been extracted since these fields were launched: “ACG participators have been getting revenue from profit oil for 15 years”.
Kh. Yusifzadeh noted that Azerbaijan’s profit oil has been put up for sale since December, 1999, while the revenue from oil sale in that year were spend to payment of capital investment.
According to him, up to 179 mln tonnes of Azeri profit oil have been sold at the world markets.
22.5 mln tonnes of 32.7 mln tonnes of oil extracted form ACG in 2013 (approiximately 69%) belonged to Azerbaijan. Up to June 1, 2014, 347 mln tonnes of oil have been sent to the world market, including 247 mln tonnes via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, 68 mln via Baku-Supsa, 11.3 mln via Baku-Novorossiysk and 20.3 mln via railway.
“Contract of the Century has introduced Azerbaijan to the world as an oil country, discovery of Shahdeniz field and Shahdeniz gas project with the 1.2 trillion cm of gas and 240 mln tonnes of condensate introduced Azerbaijan to the world as a gas exporter country”, he said.
According to him, nearly 13.5 mln tonnes of gas and 52 bcm of gas have been extracted since it launched.
Yusifzadeh noted that 3.92 bcm of gas from Shahdeniz have been sent to Georgia via South Caucasus pipeline, 28 bcm to Turkey.
