Baghirov noted that the claim has been raised in connection with CEC’s decision on the confirmation of Ilgar Mammadov’s candidacy.
Chief of CEC media and public relations department Azar Sariyev told APA that they have no information about this: “I have no detailed information about the claim raised against us.”
According to CEC’s decision at the meeting on August 24, deadline for consideration of Mammadov’s appeal has been extended.
The decision says that there were certain mistakes and violations in several documents for putting forward the candidacy of Ilgar Eldar Mammadov detained at Baku Detention Facility of the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service. Taking into account as an exception the fact that he is under investigation, deadline for document admission has been extended.
