The British envoy said that after the decision on choosing the route, the transit countries will support this decision, too. Charles Hendry congratulated Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey on the occasion of the TANAP project and expressed confidence that this project will be continued.
He said that Azerbaijan is a strategic partner in Europe's energy supply: ‘Azerbaijan is an independent state and make decisions independently, we can not deny its important role in ensuring energy security of the partners’.
