Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Marketing and Operations Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 169,706 tonnes of crude oil through Novorossiysk port (Russia, Black Sea), 315,388 tonnes – through Supsa port (Georgia, Black Sea) and 1,637,874 tonnes through Ceyhan port (Turkey, Mediterranean Sea) in August, 2013.
SOCAR says in January-August, 1,164,695 tonnes of crude oil were exported through Novorossiysk port, up 9.4% compared to a year earlier.
During the reporting period, 1,837,758 tonnes of oil were exported through Supsa port, 13,479,159 tonnes – through Ceyhan port, down 0.8% and 2.6% by contrast to 2012.
