According to him, at present, official Baku gives verbal warranty: “But we must be sure that Azerbaijan will transport at least 10 mln tonnes of oil per year and European consumers will be able to get this oil”.
Karpinski also added that Poland spent $16 mln, which was allocated for construction of Odessa-Brody-Plotsk pipeline within European Union’s program “Infrastructure and Envitonment”, to other projects. But it does not mean that the project is uninteresting for Poland: “If positive results on project will appear, Poland will return the funds”.
