The Minister said that for the present, the part of the pipeline to pass through Turkey is being specified: “The company developing the project moved its center to Turkey. The gas to be transported via TANAP can be exported to Southern Europe via TAP (Trans Adriatic Pipeline) or to Northern Europe via Nabucco-West.”
Asked whether the project will join the Nabucco-West or not, the Minister said that the decision will be passed by Shah Deniz Consortium.
He also noted that Turkey is able to play an important role in every sphere between Europe and Asia, but it does not abuse geographical advantage.
