Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. SOCAR will invest $17 bn in energy sector of Turkey in the coming 5 years, President of the company Rovnag Abdullayev said at the meeting with Turkish energy minister Taner Yildiz, APA-Economics reports.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and cooperation, prospects for further enhancement of cooperation.
Abdullayev said that projects of SOCAR realized in Turkey are being continued successfully: ‘The process of investing has already been started’.
In turn, Yildiz spoke about TANAP project. He noted that this project is important not only for the region, but also for Europe.
