According to APA-Economics, sometimes in order to distinguish petrol brands, the statements on coloring them are made public in a distorted way. Taking it into account, SOCAR once more announces that due to change of state standard gasoline, conducted in April, gasoline A98 after the start of its production will be green. Since 2013 the Company has already started to paint petrol A92 in red, preserving the natural color for gasoline of grade A95.
SOCAR also pointed out that since 1991 it has refused to produce gasoline A93at its refineries, manufacturing gasoline A92. Production of petrol A95 started since 1996. Today, in the structure of production petrol A92 accounts for 94.6% of the output, A95 – 4.7%, A80 – 0.8%. Nothing is reported on terms of production of A98, which is still imported into the country.
