At the same time, Statoil CEO Helge Lund said that he was satisfied with cooperation and noted that there is a great potential for expansion of this cooperation. Lund says the exploration works in oil-gas fields have risks, but Statoil has experience.

According to Memorandum, the parties must hold talks during 12 months from it comes into force and determine commercial parameters of the future contract.
