Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. A meeting was held at the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) with the delegation led by head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research and Federal Councilor of Switzerland Johann Schneider-Ammann.
The Company told APA-Economics that head of the SOCAR Department of Marketing Economic Operations Adnan Ahmadzade and Deputy CEO of SOCAR Trading SA Zaur Gahramanov spoke about the close relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland in the recent years.
The sides noted that issues on energy play an important role in the development of relations between the two countries. Touching on the importance of the projects in Switzerland, the officials of SOCAR said that the company would enhance the cooperation with the country in the coming years.
Following this, the sides discussed the issues of mutual interest.
