Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh - APA. Today’s agenda of the International Conference "Oil, Gas, Energy and Infrastructure" - GIOGIE-2013 focused on investment opportunities in Georgia, the role of this country in regional and world economy, including fuel-energy complex, APA’s Georgian bureau reports. The event is held under organization by Iteca Kavkasia company and it’s the 12th such conference. 150 representatives from 15 countries attend the conference.
Delivering keynote speech at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister, Ministry of Energy Kakha Kaladze spoke about the investments and importance of Shah Deniz project for the region and Europe. Besides, he noted the significance of oil&gas pipeline construction projects of new government through Georgia.
More than 30 lecturers made speeches at the event.
Today, Deputy Energy Minister Ilya Eloshvili made a presentation about ‘Business climate in Georgia and financing of energy projects’.
The conference has brought together the leadership of Georgian Gas Corporation, officials of embassies, chiefs of banks, experts from European countries, heads of different international organizations, officials of the leading oil-gas companies, international experts and foreign correspondents.
