Construction of Oil, Gas Processing and Petrochemical Complex may cost $17 bn

Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Construction of Oil, Gas Processing and Petrochemical Complex Project will cost $17 bn, said SOCAR vice-president Tofig Gahramanov, APA-Economics reports.

He noted that the price can be reduced: ‘As some chemical enterprises restored their operation after reconstruction in Sumgait, there won’t be need for construction of new ones.

Gahramanov also added that tender on construction of gas processing plant to-be-built in the complex will be announced by the end of 2013 and winner will be determined in mid of next year.
